Hello, World!

Hello and welcome! My name is Michael, and I’m excited to share a bit about myself with you.

Family Life

I’m a 33-year-old father of two wonderful children. Parenting is a journey filled with joy, challenges, and countless learning experiences. One of my children is on the autism spectrum, which has opened my eyes to the unique strengths and needs of individuals with autism. This journey has shaped my perspective on inclusivity and the importance of tailored support systems for everyone.

Professional Life

I serve as the Program Manager for an Individual Supported Living provider in Missouri. In this role, I oversee the implementation of supports that help individuals with disabilities lead fulfilling, independent lives. This work is incredibly rewarding, as I get to witness firsthand the positive impact our services have on the lives of the people we support.

Community Involvement

My passion for my community runs deep. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and opportunity-rich environment for everyone. Whether it’s through my professional work or personal efforts, I strive to contribute to the growth and well-being of my community. Ensuring that every individual has the chance to thrive and reach their full potential is a driving force in my life.

Interests and Hobbies

When I’m not working or spending time with my family, I enjoy reading and watching movies or television shows. I’m also a sports fan and typically follow Cardinals baseball and NASCAR. These activities provide a much-needed balance in my life and keep me grounded.

Looking Forward

As I continue on this journey, I’m committed to advocating for those with disabilities and supporting my community.. Through this blog, I hope to share insights, experiences, and resources that might be a positive contribution. Thank you for joining me, and I look forward to connecting with you.
